Taura & Jerry’s Wedding Ceremony

I would like to welcome all of you to this very special intimate occasion – the wedding of our beloved Taura and Jerry!
During these uncertain times, there is one thing we can be certain about – how much Taura and Jerry love each other.
But before we talk about love – I first want us to take a moment to truly arrive here and transition into this sacred space. I invite you to take a deep breath and feel your feet on the ground. Feeling the wind on your face. Smelling the air. Listening any sounds. This is an opportunity to drop in and let yourself relax. One more deep breath and now we have landed!
So back to Taura and Jerry. . .
I next want to take a moment for us to connect to all the folks who deeply love Taura and Jerry but who aren’t able to be here. Due to this craziness of COVID, it just wasn’t safe or responsible to have your extended family and community here. We will have a larger celebration when the time is right but it’s important for us to acknowledge those who can’t be here with us now. I want to take a moment to welcome all their love and wishes to this space. Just know that they are all blessing this ceremony with their love and best wishes for you two.
I have been one of Taura’s best friends since 1994 when we were in Student Government at Humboldt State University.
We have been besties for over 25 years and I have been there for all the ups and downs. Taura has been and will always be my number one person such that even my husband, Brad, has accepted that fact.
So when Taura met Jerry – I could feel that there had been a significant shift in the Force. I knew after their first date that Jerry was someone who was the perfect complement to Taura. There was a synergy and balance of Jerry with Taura. It was palpable to all – to Taura’s large family, to the Love Posse (our community of friends from college who can be intimidating and overwhelming to beaus), to Ashley and Kora. . . everyone knew that Jerry was the one.
You two are two peas in a pod. You are berry special. You are mint to be. Dang it – this is where I need Jerry’s punny super powers! I love your puns and of course, I can’t think of any good ones that capture the magic and devotion of you two.

Bottomline – I love you Jerry for how you love Taura and make her happy. It is an honor to officiate this ceremony so we can celebrate the love you two have for each other.
